Relative Strength Intensive
Our flagship four-session workshop for traders and investors who want a repeatable method for comparing instruments against peers and benchmarks.
Who it is for
The Relative Strength Intensive suits discretionary traders, SMSF decision-makers, and long-horizon investors who already read price charts and want a clearer way to judge which names or sectors are leading. It is not an introductory “how to buy shares” class.
Result you work toward
By the final session you leave with a written comparison routine: how you choose a benchmark, how you build a short ranking table, how you read a ratio chart, and how you log when leadership looks early, mature, or exhausted.
What is included
- Four tutor-led sessions of about two and a half hours each
- Printed worksheets for ASX and offshore examples
- Guided ratio-chart construction and peer ranking drills
- A personal comparison checklist you refine during week four
- Email follow-up for clarifying questions within fourteen days after the last session
What is excluded
Market tips, managed accounts, brokerage setup, software licences, and ongoing trade alerts are not part of this workshop.
Provider and delivery
Sessions are taught by Devopsedgetech instructors from our Narrawallee studio at 22 Mackie Street. Places are limited to eight participants so each person can present at least one of their own comparisons. Live video attendance is available when travel is impractical; the same materials and exercises apply.
Process and timeline
- Enquiry and placement — we confirm your chart experience and preferred dates.
- Session one — benchmarks: index, sector, cash proxy, and why the choice matters.
- Session two — ratio charts and lookback windows; common distortions.
- Session three — ranking tables and sector rotation sketches using relative strength.
- Session four — false leadership, mean reversion after extremes, and your personal routine.
The intensive usually spans four weeks (one session per week). Condensed two-weekend formats are offered when a cohort prefers that rhythm.
Preparation
Bring five to ten instruments you already follow, plus the benchmark you currently use (or think you use). Printed weekly charts help; broker screenshots are fine. No prior formal study of relative strength is required, but you should be comfortable identifying trend, range, and basic support/resistance.
Constraints
We do not provide personalised investment advice under this workshop. Examples are educational. Participants remain responsible for their own decisions. Recording of sessions is not permitted.
Pricing basis
Tuition starts at AUD 1,480 per person for the standard four-session cohort. Private cohorts of three to five people are quoted separately. A non-refundable deposit holds your place; see the refund policy for cancellations and rescheduling.
Next step
Enquire about a place and tell us your experience level and preferred month. We reply within two business days with upcoming cohort dates.
