A small teaching practice on the New South Wales South Coast, devoted to relative strength comparison as a practical chart craft.
Devopsedgetech began as an informal Saturday chart table in Narrawallee — neighbours and visiting traders comparing one ASX name against another, arguing over which benchmark was fair, and writing the conclusions in notebooks rather than chat threads.
Why relative strength
Absolute price moves are noisy. A stock can rise while lagging its sector, or fall while still leading a weaker peer group. Relative strength comparison makes that distinction visible. We stayed with this subject because it rewards patience, clear definitions, and honest benchmarks — qualities that suit long Australian market hours and SMSF-style decision cycles as much as active trading desks.
How we work
Instruction is human and deliberate. We favour printed weekly charts, slow ratio construction, and spoken reasoning over packed indicator panels. Cohorts stay small. Video sessions exist for distance, but the tone remains that of a studio table: one chart at a time, one comparison at a time.
Place and people
We teach from 22 Mackie Street, Narrawallee, New South Wales, with occasional intensive weekends when travel cohorts gather on the South Coast. Instructors combine years of personal chart work with formal teaching practice; we do not claim brokerage licences or discretionary mandate over client funds. Our role is education in technical analysis methods, especially relative strength comparison.
